Zero-click parking

Zero-click parking is a way to monetize a domain's type-in traffic by redirecting visitors straight to an advertiser's site, with no parked page or click in between; the owner is paid per visit.

Zero-click parking, explained

Traffic networks buy these visits for advertisers who want direct-navigation visitors, and payouts typically depend on the visitor's country, the topic the name implies and the network's quality checks. Unlike PPC parking, the visitor never sees a page of ad links, so a name without genuine type-in traffic earns nothing. Network policies differ, including on where visitors may be sent.

The risk is where visitors end up. Redirect chains are a common route for scams and malware, so a domain sent through a low-quality network can land on browser or security blocklists, which hurts resale value and can follow the name to its next owner. Monetizing typo or brand traffic this way also invites a UDRP finding of bad faith. If you use zero-click, choose a network that limits destinations to mainstream advertisers, and check the name against blocklists regularly.

Do not confuse it with zero-click search, the SEO term for searches answered on the results page or in an AI overview without a visit to any site. The two are unrelated: one routes type-in visitors, the other describes searches that end without a click.

Example. A short generic .com with steady type-in visits is set to zero-click with a network that limits destinations to mainstream advertisers, and the owner rechecks blocklists every quarter.
